美国共和党总统候选人罗姆尼遭痛斥

美国一名12岁中学生近日写信给美国共和党总统候选人罗姆尼，他说，“您对美国的规划并非我们所需，甚至给我们的伤害多于帮助。”

　　A 12-year-old American middle schooler recently penned a letter to Mitt Romney, telling the GOP presidential nominee, “You’re plan for America isn’t what we need, and would hurt us more than it would help.”

　　据美国《赫芬顿邮报》报道，这个名叫杰克逊•里普利的男孩在看到电视新闻里报道有关既存疾病医疗保险时，当即决定写信给罗姆尼。

　　The Huffington Post reported that Jackson Ripley was watching TV news coverage about pre-existing health care when he suddenly got up and decided it was time to write a letter to Romney.

　　It seems that particular health care debate hits very close to home for the youngster. Jackson’s 7-year-old sister Kennedy was diagnosed with hemangioma at four-weeks-old.

　　Considering that personal experience, one may have expected Ripley’s letter to be teeming with passion and fury at Romney’s stated goal to repeal Obamacare, legislation that he said has provided his sister with previously-denied access to health care.

　　杰克逊在信中唤起人们对罗姆尼医保立场的注意——罗姆尼是否真的要废除奥巴马医改政策，特别是他对待既存疾病医疗保障的态度。杰克逊还引用了罗姆尼在《会见新闻界》和《今夜秀》两档节目中的讲话，揭露前后说法自相矛盾。

　　Jackson goes on to call out Romney on his health care stance and whether he actually will or won't repeal Obamacare, especially with regard to patients with pre-existing conditions, citing contradicting statements from Romney on "Meet the Press" and the "Tonight Show."

　　Jackson wrote, “It is to my understanding that you stated that you were going to repeal Obama Care, including the part I have mentioned, which will take away the insurance we have and need for my sister Kennedy. Why do you think she doesn’t deserve health care? Also, when you were interviewed on ‘Meet the Press’, you stated that you would NOT repeal this part of Obama Care, but then your campaign backpedalled and on the ‘Tonight show with Jay Leno’, you said that you WOULD repeal this. ”

　　Jackson’s mom shared his letter among some friends and family before sharing it with The Huffington Post and mailing it to Romney. She said that in 2010, the same year the Affordable Care Act was signed into law, Kennedy was added back onto the family policy but that she's since been diagnosed with a vascular malformation and will very likely require treatment for the rest of her life
